|
|
ok i need some help,
i have a gentoo linux box ( this one ) connected to the net via a cable modem using dhcp
and a dman small linux box.
i have one ethernet card in each box a five port switch and a cable modem.
What and how is the best way to have both of these boxes use the net considering that the cable modem
or my provider alocates only ONE ip address to my home network.
also i have no local ip setup on the gentoo box only the dhcp and 127.0.0.1, i also have no idea
how to do this or even how to set a local address eg 192.168.0.x on my gentoo machine. |
