It gives me the following error:

I placed a "-helix" in my USE flag. I'm still having the same problem. Thank you for your reply in advance |

Helix is part of realplayer. If you don't need real audio support in amarok, you can disable it:
Edit /etc/portage/package.use file:
Code: | media-sound/amarok -real |
If you need support of real audio, and you want to compile amarok, just do this:
Code: | USE=-real emerge -uv media-sound/amarok |
This will compile amarok .
