I'm reinstalling Gentoo. In the past I've used lvm2, and now I want to try evms. There is something that puzzles me: I want to use lvm's concept of resizing and shrinking volumes. Is there any way to do this natively with evms, or do I always need an lvm container? The drive linking feature seems to be a possible way of increasing a volume. But this is not really what I want. I want to be able to resize at will. How have you guys done it? Thanks |

*bump*
I truly believe that someone knows this
and it's a short thing to answer. Just choose 1 or 2:
1)- You must use LVM2 containers, EVMS didn't want to reinvent the wheel of LVM2
2)- EVMS does the same using some other native method, just look for (put some term here) |
