I can mount them as a user, but I can't write to them?? Why is this?
Here are my fstab entries:
//192.168.1.25/f /mnt/f smbfs auto,user,uid=0,gid=0,rw 0 0
//192.168.1.25/g /mnt/g smbfs auto,user,uid=0,gid=0,rw 0 0
//192.168.1.25/c /mnt/c smbfs auto,user,uid=0,gid=0,rw 0 0

Perhaps because root owns the files.
Perhaps because they are shared readonly to begin with. |

dunno what type of security youre using, you might now have perms to write to them. look over your smb.conf. |
