Does anyone know if HCF modems are supported under Linux? I checked out http://www.conexant.com/customer/md_support.html
and I saw a linux driver. I downloaded and ran the detection script that conexant has on their page. It does not detect my modem. According to the page official (read unsupported) Linux HCF Linux Drivers will be available Summer 2002.
Anyone know if there is already a driver somewhere?
My question is does anyone have this weird modem/audio card? If so does it work?
Where and how did I get it? Well a family member was going to get rid of an old HP Pavilion 4350. Just chuck it in the garbage. I asked for it and they gave it I figured would be a great development box. I upped the memory a bit but the machine has a 350 k62 proc, originally had 32 meg of ram I bumped it up to 96, a 4 gig hd, on board sis 530 video and this funky modem/audio card. BTW The modem connects to a pci slot the audio portion is an amr card connected to the modem via a wire. The audio inputs like cdrom audio cable connector go into the modem itself. _________________ Boricua Hasta La Muerte |

I found it after an exhaustive google search. For some reason it was almost 5 pages in. _________________ Boricua Hasta La Muerte |
