I have a Dell PowerEdge 6450 (PE6450) its a 4u server that has quad 700mhz xeons, 4GB ram, and a 18Gb 15k drive installed. Would like to upgrade the video card (ati rage pro onboard) so it can used as a desktop system. Basically looking to install a sound card and a faster video card. So far I have tried installing a Geforce 2 mx400 pci, once in a 32bit, and then in a 64bit slot without success. When installing the video card in either slot there is no video output on either video card. There is no option in the bios to disable the onboard video. I havent seen anywhere in any documentation of an option to disable video via a jumper. Any suggestions or tips welcome.
