I just emerged -uD world, build a new kernel, rebooted and now I can't start X with the fglrx driver. Yes I remerged ati-drivers after building the new kernel and the module loads without any errormsgs.
When I want to start X I get: Code: | X Window System Version 7.0.0

I use ati-drivers-8.22.5 and have o issues:)
Check Xorg.0.log for more information and take a look here |

Xorg.o.log doesn't give me more information and ...

Downgrade to xorg-server-1.0.2-r3, and everything should work fine!
If you have all the Xorg 7.0 packages in package.unmask, remove them, because it isn't hardmasked anymore. |
