|
|
I've just set up a mailserver for home usage and everything works perfectly.
Everything went suprisingly well compared with my pervious attemts.
Incomming mail
fetchmail->postfix->procmail [ spamassassin -> clamassassin[clamav] -> mail sorting] -> Imap-ssl (and squirrelmail)
Outgoing mail
postfix->smtp-server provider
All this works but i was wondering if i can somehow maintain my inbox.
For example move all the read mail from a certain folder thats older than 10 days to an other folder
or remove all spam older than 5.
Is this possible using al mailproc filter in combination with cron?
Any examples?

i suggest you have a look at net-mail/archivemail. homepage at http://archivemail.sourceforge.net/
this tool is able to do what you want, especially in combination with cron.
good luck _________________ fm |

Thanks, this seems to be the thing i need. Haven't tried it but it does everything I need it to do and after setting up the mail system i think this shouldn't be that hard. |
