Juegos como supertux, ngneo y otros juegos en modo ventana trabajan bien. Pero al pasarlos a full screen se va la señal del monitor mandando un mensaje que dice: señal fuera de límite cambiar a 1280x1024 . Buscando en los foros de ingles me encontre con este post, en el que dicen que la resolución se puede cambiar usanso las teclas 'CTRL' + 'ALT' + '+' lo e echo pero no pasa nada.
Por si las moscas este es mi xorg.conf

Supongo que TODAS estas resoluciones estaran soportadas por tu monitor 
"1280x1024" "1280x960" "1280x800" "1152x864" "1152x768" "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
