I selected my place of origin (amaerica/regina) and theni installed the ntp (or whatever it is), but my clock is constantly 6 hours off, anyone have any idea what the problem might be. (Note it is always -6 hours, which is the appropriate subtraction from world time for my time zone.) |

i set it, i just needed to change the clock to UTC for some reason. Oh well. |

This would be due to the settings in /etc/conf.d/clock
You really should read through the Gentoo Handbook - all these things are explained step-by-step for the installation. _________________ Matthew Smith |
