Hallo ihr alle da draußen!
Mich würde brennend interessieren, ob alle Pakete des portage-trees für die gentoo-ppc-version zur verfügung stehen, die ich auch unter x86 nutzen kann. Hat jemand damit Erfahrung oder gibt es dazu ein spezielles Forum?

Die meisten....... einige sind aber eben im ebuild nur für x86 als stable bezeichnet. |

Soweit, sogut, aber wie bzw. wo erkenne ich das. Du sprachst von "im ebuuild". Kann man es dort ablesen oder gibt der Tree auskunft darüber.
Bemerkung: Ich hab gentoo noch nicht installiert, deshalb frag ich so seltsam.

Soweit ich weiß nur im ebuild selbst. Kannst du aber auch online nachschauen:
http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/pkgs/index.xml (online package database) --> das gewünschte Paket finden, in der Detailansicht auf "View CVS Repository" --> eine .ebuild datei auswählen, dann nochmal auf "View". Nach KEYWORDS steht dann auf welcher Architektur es als stable (z.B. "x86") oder unstable (z.B. "~x86") eingestuft ist. |
