Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to have Gentoo linux embedded in a system. I want to start playing with that and I believe a good plan is to use the distro I am currently using in my home server and laptop. I like the feel that I can customize gentoo but have a very friendly interface with the system.
My plan is to build a system with an embedded processor that has network capabilities. In the long run I want to have a network storage device built by me at home. Hence I have a few questions:
1) Is gentoo a good call for that?
2) What processors does gentoo support?
3) Does anyone have any design suggestions? Schematics, plans, ... that could share?
Thanks for any help. |
