gvm don't mount cdroms correct

Hi all silly question but i recently installed gentoo 2006.0 in a celeron box got gvm working for usbsticks and my usb camera but with cdroms and dvdroms they get mounted but the mountpoint has (/media/*) root as owner and root as group instead of cdrom i think so all the users can't browse its contents.All users connecting to the box are in the cdrom and plugdev group and i don't have fstab entries for any device.Any suggestions?
