I have googled and searched and cannot seem to find anyone with this same problem.
I am using an ibook g3, and after compiling openoffice, it does some strange things. the pull down menus dont work unless i click on them and mouseover each option, the interface runs EXTREMELY slow, and i cannot seem to access the options under the tools menu.
I hope this is enough information, but if you need more, please let me know. |

That does vaguely remind me of something, but I cant quite my finger on it. If you have thoroughly searched, and have tried unmerge'ing and re-emerging and get the same results, it may be time to file a bug. Now that bug may be for the gentoo maintainer, or for OpenOffice.org. I would advise to start with filing a bug in Gentoo first, and then seeing if that escalates or not.
Which version of openoffice is it? And have you checked that you are not trying to get a version that is masked against your processor or anything?
