Hallo,
seit einiger Zeit schlage ich mich mit dem Bootsplash herum und finde eine Option nicht mehr.
Es ist doch moeglich ohne initrd den Splash direkt in den Kernel zu laden, dieser Option bediene ich mich.
Nun kommt beim Start oben links der Tux, dann dauert es kurz und es folgen die ersten Gentoo Inits, dann
poppt der Splash auf.
Ich hatte es aber auch schon so laufen das direkt nach dem Tux der Bootsplah eingefaded ist und ich keinerlei
Bootmeldungen von Gentoo gesehen habe nur ich finde das nicht mehr wie das funktionierte. Kann mir jemand
Hilfestellung geben?
Aktuell Benutzter Kernel 2.6.15-ck5, selbst gepatched mit fbsplash.

Ich weiß nicht ob ich dich richtig verstanden habe aber meinst du das:

kleiner hinweis: imho darf das tux-logo gar nicht kommen, da dann fbsplash nicht funktioniert
also- es geht nur eins von beiden, imho stand das auch in dem tut zu fbsplash das du aufführst 
wenn nicht dort, dann in dem tut zu bootsplash (der part wo der kernel konfiguriert wird)

also Bootup Logo nicht aktivieren !!!
ansonsten kommen die fbsplash Hintergrund-themes zwar auch, aber erst wenn /etc/init.d/splash die tty's alle belegt.
