Is there a way for me to have something tell me the current resolution of my display. I changed a few things and cant get them to go back and my screen looks to be a little off, things that fit on the screen before are a little off the screen now.

frobie,

xvidtune will show you what X is doing and allow you to change it too.
Changes do not stick across reboots but its easy to write a modeline given the
data that xvidtune provides.
