i would like to buy a usb camera
as i know, some usb cameras are not supported by the driver spca5xx
depending on the Vendor and Product ID
in linux, i can check these IDs by lsusb
however, almost all sellers use windows OS here

Most digital cameras are supported by gphoto (list of supported cameras: http://www.gphoto.org/proj/libgphoto2/support.php) or can be mounted as a file system.
If neither will work, the other option is to get a cheap usb card reader and use it to mount the camera's memory card. |
