|
|
I've been using a kernel outside of portage for the last couple of years, most recently through the homebrew-sources ebuild:
http://72.14.203.104/search?q=cache:hyQj-r0tmlYJ:metawire.org/~dirtyepic/homebrew-sources-2.6.99.ebuild
As of last night, suddenly portage wants to emerge sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.16-r3.
I tried adding "sys-kernel/gentoo-sources-2.6.16-r3" to my /etc/portage/package.provided file, but it still wants to emerge the kernel.
Any suggestions?
[edit] nevermind, didn't realize it had to be /etc/portage/profile/package.provided |
