Hello, I have colors in my consoles when I'm logget as root. But when I'm logget as a user, I don't have colors with the "ls" command. How to fix this ?
Thank you in advance. :)

Add
Code:
alias ls="ls --color=tty"

To the user's .bashrc

Thank you it works but... not the way I want to.
When I'm in text mode ( alt+F1/2/3/4/5... consoles ), and I'm logget as root, my console is colored. When I log in with a simple user, the console is colored, too.
But when I log in with my username in the KDE's konsole, this is my command line :
Code:

I have no name!@MyDebian / $ cd /
I have no name!@MyDebian / $ ls
ProgramTests  boot  etc   home  lost+found  mnt  proc  sbin  tmp  var
bin           dev   hda1  lib   media       opt  root  sys   usr  xorg.conf
I have no name!@MyDebian / $

The console is not colored. And I don't know why there is a "I have no name!" instead of my user's name.

The other thing, when I enter KDE and start the console, I'm logged as root with Root Shell. In that case, this is my command line :
Code:

MyDebian ~ # cd /
MyDebian / # ls
ProgramTests  boot  etc   home  lost+found  mnt  proc  sbin  tmp  var
bin           dev   hda1  lib   media       opt  root  sys   usr  xorg.conf
MyDebian / #

The console is colored.
But when I create a Linux Shell, The command line is the same :
Code:

MyDebian ~ # cd /
MyDebian / # ls
ProgramTests  boot  etc   home  lost+found  mnt  proc  sbin  tmp  var
bin           dev   hda1  lib   media       opt  root  sys   usr  xorg.conf
MyDebian / #

but without colors. But in both I am with root ptivilages.
So, my questions at all, beacouse all this is a little confusing... :)
#Why there is "I have no name!" instead of my simple user name ?
#Why when I'm logget in KDE and I'm inside the console, and I am a root ( MyDebian in my case ), my Root Shell is colored, and my Linux Shell is not, while both are with root privilages ?
#Why when I'm in the text consoles ( I mean alt+F1/2/3/4...etc ) logget as simple user, the console are colored. But when I'm logget in the console in KDE with a simple user, the console is not colored ? :?

Thank you about the pation in advance. :)
