I am attempting to compile the latest ~ version of xorg, I am having a compile error:
It compiles OK, but when it trys to merge, I get these:
/usr/X11R6 isn't a symlink to ..usr. Please delete it.
Then it tells me to:
equery belongs /usr/X11R6 > usr-x11r6-packages
I do that equery, but It returns no output
Help! Posting from lynx sucks :(

Are you following the upgrade guide? If equery gives no output (and no error) you've probably nothing that installs under /usr/X11R6. Check by listing its contents.

I don't understand why you have an /usr/X11R6 directory, anyway, if it's empty, just remove it.
