i only find ServerRoot
/usr/lib/apache2
i put web page index.html here
but when i links 127.0.0.1 it said requested URL / was not found on this server _________________ >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hi
I dont know where to find it in gentoo, but in other distros it can be in sites.available or vhosts or anywhere inside the apache config-dir. (The files are included in httpd.conf)
so it would be best if you do a "grep -ir documentroot * " inside your apache conf dir
