Ahh, I read about a month ago that AIGLX only worked on Fedora with open-source ati drivers. I'm guessing it works on other distros now? _________________ meow. |

I'm back as well.
I left Gentoo after using it for around 8 months and installed Fedora Core 5. Two days ago I reinstalled Gentoo again, because I was quite frustrated with Fedora. It is quite unstable and I really hate the rpm package management tools.
So, it's nice to be back

Well, I have used SUSE once as a server, not a desktop, but YaST was really disappointing, so I ditched it quick.. That was before Novell bought them out though.. OpenXChange would be the only reason I would ever consider them again, but since Zimbra has come out, I doubt that will ever happen anyway..

Figured "screw all this compiling" and tried ubuntu, fedora and suse. &#%&#%¤ pain in the ass to get things work my way. Definately re-installing gentoo after I finish re-downloading knoppix.
ps. wouldn't hurt to mention that confirmation code is case-sensitive... |
