Any1 know a fix to the (what seems to be) common bug with wine running games but messing up the mouse control.
as in https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-310772-highlight-wine+mouse+cursor.html
I have the same problem in KOTOR2,
And in many games I try to run with wine, the mouse seems to work, but the is no cursor. I know I have not been specific as to which version of wine or my system, but I'v tried MULTIPLE versions of wine, and have seen this problem posted a few times on the forums with no sollution.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
mind,
over. |

This is currently a bug in wine, developpers are looking for a way around it/to fix it as far as I am aware, might see the fix in a few releases. |

One work around that I've heard is to run in X in 16 bit mode (rather than 24). It works for wine + Guild Wars... unfortunatly Guild Wars doesn't do much better as a whole, but I guess it's something to have a mouse again...
worth a try anyway. |
