no. non è un bug. semplicemente equery puoi utilizzarlo per vedere le use con le quali hai compilato i pacchetti che hai installato. non quelli da installare.
tu vlc non l'hai installato quindi è logico che non lo trovi. |

Bastava guardare un po il manuale:
| Code: | uses <local-opts> pkgspec
display USE flags for pkgspec.
The only possible value for <local-opts>, if specified, is:
-a, --all include non-installed packages

| non ci avevo pensato chiedo venia... ero certo funzionasse con tutti i pacchetti e non sono andato a rivedermi il manuale, credendolo un comportamento anomalo! |

compresi anche i flag use che usa (scusate il gioco di parole  ) no?
per installarlo quale pacchetto devo installare? se dò emerge equery non me lo trova... |
