modular X keeps giving me digest verification problems
before i was getting quite a few of the sha256 hashes weren't matching, but i did the
Code:
ebuild <path to ebuild file> digest

and got past it, and now i'm getting:
Code:
crotty ~ # rm -rf /usr/portage/distfiles/*
crotty ~ # emerge kde
Calculating dependencies... done!

does anyone have any idea why this is happening?

look at that: https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-457512-highlight-digest.html

i would do this:

echo "=dev-python/pycrypto-2.0.1-r4" >> /etc/portage/package.keywords

thanks for the link

i tried both versions of pycrypto (-r4 and -r5) but both seem to be giving me the same errors, when i remove the files and redownload them, and after a sync two minutes ago

from that link you gave me, i'd guess i should just wait for the devs to update the sha256 signatures? or has that been done, and it's still not working?

thanks again

You don't have to wait:
Code:
FEATURES="-strict" emerge <yourpackages>
will work right now. Hopefully it won't take too long to fix all the signatures b0rked by this bug.
