Debugging stuff on my computer... something vaguely smells like burning (which ain't so good) and /proc/acpi/ibm/thermal shows
temperatures: 41 36 35 68 30 -128 29 -128
Anybody know what that 4th sensor might be? Anyone else have a T60 that can compare to see if this is unique to me alone? |

from a T42:
temperatures: 46 42 29 48 28 -128 20 -128
(and first value is probably CPU)...
Well I know that it doesn't help much, but at least you can compare. |

Since the T60 is a dual-core machine, I *believe* it is has 2 temperature sensors for the processors... I'm thus not sure what the others are. |

On most ThinkPads the 4th temperature is the GPU (graphic chip) - 68°C is really high, do you played with your fan control?
On my R50 it is about 51... (You should check that temperature under Windows!)
Is you fan running (fast)?
Is the ThinkPad very hot in the near of the fan? |
