ciao a tutti.
per necessita' devo reinstallare gentoo sul pc.ho scaricato la iso minimal,e ho cercato la guida di installazione...qui nasce il mio problema:voglio fare un'installazione attraverso internet,ma l'unica guida riguardante gentoo 2006 tratta l'installazione senza rete...devo usare la guida della 2005.1?
ho visto che nella guida gentoo 2006 il link per avere gli ultimi pacchetti installati manda alla sezione dove sono presenti anche le guide piu' vecchie,ma siccome l'installazione e' abbastanza lunga,e il pc mi serve in tempi brevi non potevo provare alla "cieca",ma ho preferito chiedere.

Dovresti consultare l'Handbook "generico", la versione 2006.0 tratta l'installazione senza rete.

occhio pero' che il vecchio handbook andrebbe aggiornato... per esempio ti fa utilizzare files un po' obsoeleti e altre cose un po' "deprecate", niente di grave cmq. Nulla che tu nn possa sistemare in seguito. A casa cmq ho segnato qualche modifica, quando torno posto.

direi che puoi andare tranquillo.. a parte il profilo e la scelta dei files.. non ci dovrebbero essere grossi cambiamenti...
