I'm not sure if this is the right forum part to post this topic on, but i'm quite sure that the problem has something to do with my installation. =/
I've installed the Linux system just fine, but know when i'm booting i'm getting the "invalid memory access" error.
When I tried to boot Ubuntu with a kernel that was made for a 32bit system i did get the same error.
But i used the gentoo-sources. Does someone have any idea how to fix this problem? _________________ "Linux: For those who hate Windows. FreeBSD: For those who love UNIX" |

I tried to copy the kernel from the CD to the installation and then it worked.
But it would be good to know how ti fix this problem without copying the kernel from the CD. _________________ "Linux: For those who hate Windows. FreeBSD: For those who love UNIX" |

Moved from Installing Gentoo to Kernel & Hardware.
Souds like a kernel related problem, so moved here. _________________ Please add [solved] to the initial post's subject line if you feel your problem is resolved. Help answer the unanswered
