hi all
if im more than "30min" im computer and want do shutdowm my pc, using "shutdown now -h" i dont halt .. :S just stay on "Power Down"
and after booting linux using "shutdown now -h" it halts...
i dont know whats the problem

***** uname -a
Linux localhost 2.6.22-gentoo-r9-091107 #3 SMP Fri Nov 9 23:41:38 WET 2007 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.20GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux

******dmesg | grep acpi
ACPI: LAPIC (acpi_id[0x01] lapic_id[0x00] enabled)
ACPI: LAPIC (acpi_id[0x02] lapic_id[0x01] enabled)

here is my kernel config http://one2one.no.sapo.pt/kernelConfig.txt
lspci output http://one2one.no.sapo.pt/lspci.txt

(using "poweroff" or "halt -p" i get the same results as "shutdown now -h" :S )
(using apm its not safe in smp cpus and kernel dont compile with APM and SMP selected, im using ACPI)
("30min" its an example, can be more or less)
(motherboard asus p5gd1)

thks in advance

What happens if you just use the "poweroff" command instead?
