Hey, just to let all know I'm still alive (noticable in the c::b thread :P).

Sorry i'm not doing anything on beyond atm., it's just that my capacities
are currently reserved for another (closed source, booooo!) project ^.^

Maybe i'll find a little time this weekend to put some life into dev branch again (emphasis on maybe)

Beyond4 is out guys,

I've just configured this kernel from scratch and I tried to compile it resulting into this error:
Code:

aristoteles linux-2.6.16-beyond3 # make
  CHK     include/linux/version.h
  UPD     include/linux/version.h
  SYMLINK include/asm -> include/asm-i386
  SPLIT   include/linux/autoconf.h -> include/config/*
  CC      arch/i386/kernel/asm-offsets.s
In file included from arch/i386/kernel/asm-offsets.c:10:
include/linux/suspend.h:62: error: redefinition of 'freeze_processes'
include/linux/sched.h:1492: error: previous definition of 'freeze_processes' was here
include/linux/suspend.h:63: error: redefinition of 'thaw_processes'
include/linux/sched.h:1493: error: previous definition of 'thaw_processes' was here
make[1]: *** [arch/i386/kernel/asm-offsets.s] Error 1
make: *** [prepare0] Error 2

This happens on a good old Pentium II (Celeron) system. Am I missing something?

Could you email me, or pastebin.com your .config?

What did you patch this onto? 2.6.16 or 2.6.16.y. It must be applied to 2.6.16

Here's my .config: http://pastebin.com/727808
The patch was applied via your ebuild to 2.6.16.

It looks like .config from 2.6.12-nitro5 doesn't really work together with 2.6.16-beyond4 and make oldconfig screwed things up...

It's funny that you say that, because I've noticed this same thing happening on various ck based patches, including my own. For some reason, you have to enable ACPI, or it will not build.
