It seems after a mesa update (or might have been a xorg-server update, havnt restarted X in a while) that the X command is missing. I tried re-compiling xorg-server and mesa again with the xorg USE flag but still no luck. Synced again today and updated and still no go.
Has anyone had this issue, i get the folowing error when starting X via the startx command.
Code: | xauth: creating new authority file /home/shifty/.serverauth.28605
xinit: No such file or directory (errno 2): no server "X" in PATH
Use the -- option, or make sure that /usr/bin is in your path and
that "X" is a program or a link to the right type of server
for your display. Possible server names include:
Xorg X.Org displays |
