Ciao a tutti..ho deciso di abbandonare genkernel e compilare il bios di sana pianta.. :D
ora vi vorrei chiedere se alcuni messaggi nel boot sono normali oppure ho sbagliato qualcosa??
gli errori che ho riscontrato sono stati evidenziati in rosso mentre i dubbi sono in arancione :)..naturalmente se ci sono settaggi che ho sbagliato che non ho notato vi sarei grato di segnalarli.. :(

si il sistema funziona..cioè riesco a fare il login. però devo ancora installare xorg e tutto il resto..
quindi per te le parti che ho segnato in arancione o in rosso sono normali?
anche la parte riguardante il pci(l'ultimo blocco rosso) e il fatto che non trova il bridge agp??
hai qualche consiglio per compilare al meglio il kernel??
prima di installare tutto il software vorrei essere sicuro che ho fatto tutto a modo.. :oops:

hai ragione..però siccome vorrei configurare al meglio il kernel speravo che postando sia il dmesg che il config avreste avuto una visione completa della mia compilazione e mi avreste rivelato errori/dato consigli che magari io non notavo..

non ti si può dare nessun consiglio, per il semplice fatto che il kernel è la cos ameno standard che esista su un sistema.
ogni sistema ha il suo kernel, appositamente compilato, ed ogni sistema è diverso

il kernel cambia in funzione dell'hardware, delle necessità dell'utente e dei gusti personali dell'amministratore.

l'unica cosa che posso dirti è di compilare SOLO il supporto per l'hardware che hai installato, oppure se non sai dove mettere le mani, di usare una configurazione generale. genkernel se non gli dai tu un file di configurazione usa una conf standard

In realtá potrebbe anche partire dalla configurazione di genkernel (assodato che questa funziona) e, con la dovuta calma, procede all'eliminazione di quello che non gli serve.
