Hello, I use Firestarter, but I have been having a problem with it for a very long time. If the Firestarter GUI is running when I shut down my computer, the system shutdown proceddure fails on the "remounting remaining file systems read-only". It says that the file system / is still in use. It will only happen if the FS GUI is running when I shutdown, if I shut it down manually before asking KDE to shutdown the computer, it will not happen. The firewall in itself causes no problem, only the GUI causes problems.
I've tried looking on the forum, bugzilla and on the web for it and found nothing. Am I the only one having this problem ?
Right now I'm using KDE 3.5.2, but it also happened in KDE 3.4.1, 3.5.1 and maybe others, it's been a long time. My kernel is 2.6.14-hardened-r5 and it happened with many other previous hardened kernel versions. The rest of my system is up to date.
Thanks for your help. |
