silly key binding mixup help

okay... i was using the build in gnome keybinding tool to set up my media keys, when, trying to delete a bound key, absent mindly pressed the "delete" button instead of the correct "backspace". so i accidentally bound the delete key, and when i unbound it, the delete button no longer works (ie. removing a character from the right side of the cursor). how do i fix this?
