I saw the recent version of Thunderbird finally, AMD64, whoo hoooo!

Code:
emerge -s thunderbird
Searching...
[ Results for search key : thunderbird ]
[ Applications found : 2 ]

*  mail-client/mozilla-thunderbird
      Latest version available: 1.5.0.2-r1
      Latest version installed: 1.0.7

But when I try to emerge it, the process just hangs, or is not found:

Code:
Resolving ftp.gentoo.or.kr... 218.36.126.80
11:18:52 ERROR 404: Not Found.

Don't know why it hangs. But if it does, just get that file manually and place it in your distfiles-dir

Mine did the same thing for a while. The problem was that the servers either weren't responding, or they didn't have the updated files. I just let mine run long enough (~15 mins) to try a bunch of servers until it found a server that was good to go.

The server that finally worked was the one at gatech.edu, if that helps.
