XDMCP buggy?

Hi all

I have been trying to run X over the network. I have set up XDMCP as per the Gentoo Howto, and I can run "X -query <xdmhost> :1" no problem; however, if I try to run "X -broadcast :1", I get no response from XDM on xdmhost.

Also, when trying to run Xnest, neither -query nor -broadcast functions correctly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thankyou.
