Guy, I think it's happening. Well, 'stable' is a huge word, but winXP already was far beyond win95.... and it seems to go on this way...
but more and more proprietary (or at least, still THAT proprietary), which, as would GOD would say, is BAD... Or maybe it's rms

Yeah its getting more stable, i do dual boot between gentoo and windows 2003 server.
Windows 2003 is the exception its rock stable(at least for a w$ndows

) , but its to expensive for desktop use for the normal user and winxp is unstable.
Reinstall every 2 weeks because registry got too big and windows was slow as crap, but they are moving along very slowly or as bill would say it: oops i guess thats why we aren't shipping it
