I am having problems with video playback with composite enabled .... video will not background & some other things like xine UI control keeps appearing on/off on top of video. Also when I right click the video window in xine it will not show the menu on top of the video. If I disable composite all works normally.
Is there any way to fix it without disabling xorg composite ? |

Are you using Nvidia? which version of xorg? kde? With latest Nvidia Drivers, kde 3.5.2 and xorg 7 works like a charm for me. |

I used to use composite, and as far as I know this is just something you have to live with if you want that eye candy. Composite will probably be better supported in kde4, and it's already working nice with videos in XGL, but I'd not try XGL now if I were you. |
