|
|
Hi,
I have a problem with some pictures. I rotated them with an application but when I go to view them I see first the picture as it was before and immediately after rotated. Like an animation. With other programs I do not see the rotation taking effect. I was told to remove the exif from the picture but I do not know howto.
Can someone please explain which application I should use, if it is a command line application, what to type, and if by removing the exif I will also remove all data information about the picture, or if I just edit it?
Thank you,

Maybe it's your picture viewer application setting to automaticcaly rotate an image while viewing based on your exif data? You should check that too.
And ImageMagick's 'mogrify' command can remove _all_ exif info, so take care with using that. Read the doc.
