Hi,
I've got a Promise Ultra 100 IDE controller in a pci slot on my machine. When the machine starts up I get this message:
... ...
PDC20268: IDE controller at PCI slot 03:05.0
PDC20268: chipset revision 2
PDC20268: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
PDC20268: too many IDE interfaces, no room in table
PDC20268: too many IDE interfaces, no room in table
... ...
Anybody got any ideas what this is about or how to fix it?
Is there a limit on the number of IDE interfaces a linux kernel can handle? _________________ The Human Equation:
