At http://www.gentoo.org/ a LiveDVD is mentioned. That sounds *very* interesting, does anybody know when it will be released? _________________ I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes or should I? |

You were just a few hours early. I got mine by 9:00PM EST on 2/28, by bit torrent. It was one of the fastest d/l's I've ever had, ~800 KB/s. |

I don't know if I hate you, myself or my ADSL provider
And I agree with vyzivus, this DVD seems interesting, anyone have any idea when it will be out? _________________ nasci pelado, careca e sem dente, o que vier é lucro |

They finally offered to connect me about four months after my Comcast cable internet service (at essentially the same price) had settled into being remarkably dependable at ~200KB/s. Verizon underwhelmed me.
Comcast has doubled my d/l bandwidth twice since then, at no increase in my fee. What can I say? Sometimes good things happen even when it's not Christmas.
But to get back to the original subject of this thread: I am very favorably impressed with this CD. It works well live and installing from it can take as little as 30 minutes, depending on what you select. And now at last my Opty 165 has native 64-bit SMP support! _________________ The difference between intelligence and stupidity is that there are limits to intelligence.
