I have kernel module autoloading disabled in my kernel but it still autoloads modules. Anyone know how to stop this behaviour ?

As far as I know the /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.* does the autoloading of kernel modules, at least on startup. I could be wrong tho. _________________ Just because I have nothing to say is no reason why you shouldn't listen. |

ok I have stopped this behavior by:
adding "blacklist ipw2200" and other modules to /etc/modules.d/blacklist,
modules-update fails to generate /etc/modprobe.conf.
how can I stop it load all modules ? |
