|
|
I was wondering if anyone knew of a plugin for XGL that allows window flipping. It would be nice to have the ability to bind two windows together, say have Firefox on one face, flip the window and have your terminal (as if it were on the back side of the window), then flip back to Firefox. I thought I heard that it was being done, but not sure if in XGL. Has anyone heard of this or knows if it's possible within a linux environment? |

Something like that exists in LookingGlass. Didn't hear anything about XGL though... but i guess that it's doable with a simple plugin.. _________________ Never argue with an idiot. They will only pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience. |

This would be a window manager plugin rather than an XGL one I'd presume! |

Moved from Desktop Environments to Unsupported Software. XGL is unsupported. |

Well I was thinking it would be easy to implement. You take the idea of the cube and put it on windows (except just have 2 sides instead of 4, or make 2 of the 4 sides incredibly thin). Would be a nice feature. One can only hope. |
