I've got the following errors in my logs but I don't understand what the problem is or why they are logged at level error.

Has anybody seen this before?

| Have you a smbd running on your box? Is this share ought to be mounted? If, try the samba mailing list under www.samba.org. This is always worth a try and usually very helpful. |

the somemachine box is a windows 2000 file server, and it's mounted locally via smbfs.

it does seem to be mounting everything properly, dunno why it's complaining about this service mode thingy...

this doesn't happen on any of my other linux servers which all have samba, and since this is logged as an Error, I'm quite eager to fix this, does nobody have any idea on this one?
