Hi everybody,

I'm trying since some time to use the 2 keys accent on openoffice-bin but nothing... It doesn't want to work...

When I launch oowriter2 it gives me :

Code:

I18N: X Window System doesn't support locale "fr_FR@euro"
I18N: X Window System doesn't support locale "en_US"
I18N: X Window System doesn't support locale "C"
Info: Using render cleanup parameters 8/20/23/24/25/26.
Info: Using image cleanup parameters 0/0/0/0.

Here are my locales

Code:
LANG=fr_FR@euro
LC_CTYPE="fr_FR@euro"
LC_NUMERIC="fr_FR@euro"
LC_TIME="fr_FR@euro"
LC_COLLATE="fr_FR@euro"
LC_MONETARY="fr_FR@euro"
LC_MESSAGES="fr_FR@euro"
LC_PAPER="fr_FR@euro"
LC_NAME="fr_FR@euro"
LC_ADDRESS="fr_FR@euro"
LC_TELEPHONE="fr_FR@euro"
LC_MEASUREMENT="fr_FR@euro"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="fr_FR@euro"
LC_ALL=fr_FR@euro

I even tried it with UTF8... but nothing to do

What could I do to bring it to work ???

Is there perhaps a package needed by openoffice-bin that doesn't work correctly ?

Here's a couple of resources:

http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/guide-localization.xml
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/utf-8.xml

Do you see your locale under /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/locale ?

Did you build the locale with glibc? Run local -a to see.

Did you define the LINGUAS variable when building/installing openoffice-bin?
