After coimpleting the install and booting my screen starts way to bright
cant read much. Is this maybe becuase i included fram,ebuffer in the kernel.
The brightness starts when i see the larry the cow logo onscreen (before its normal & good)
hardware:
comp(r)aq presario 1200xl103 laptop
trident cyberblade chipset (dot know the type nr 'cause the compaq site sux) |

I've got a 12xl126, and it happens to me too. I don't worry about it, though, because when the framebuffer kicks in, the screen switches to 800x600 and the brightness problem goes away.
What do you mean by (before its normal & good)? |
