Hallo! Ich habe schon wieder ein seltsames Problem mit den Geräten, die in KDE unter media:/ angezeigt werden. Bis vor kurzem wurden Geräte wie zB. usbstick, mp3player, usb-festplatte automatisch beim einstecken gemountet (benutze hierfür hal, dbus, ivman). Nachdem ich mir udev-rules erstellt hatte, klappte dies absolut wunderbar. Nun, seit ein paar Tagen geht es wieder nicht! Keine der beteiligten Komponenten habe ich seitdem geupdatet, nichts verändert...
Das Verhalten ist jetzt so, dass USB-Geräte erst gemountet sind wenn ich das Icon doppelklicke. Wie gesagt, vorher ist automatisch kurz nach dem einstecken der grüne Pfeil erschienen. Für CD/DVD-Laufwerke geht dies auch weiterhin automatisch :twisted:

Wie gesagt, das ist doch komisch, ich habe absolut nichts verändert oder geupdatet :(

Für den USB-Kram habe ich keinen Eintrag in der fstab und es funktioniert! Moment, das usbfs sollte in der fstab schon drinne sein:

... so oder so ähnlich ist es bei mir in der fstab (bin momentan nicht zu Hause).
Voteil: in /media wird das erkannte Gerät unter seinem Namen eingebunden.

Also das usbfs habe ich mal in die fstab aufgenommen >> keine Änderung. Das gemeine, bei einem Neustart mit angehängter usb-platte, wird diese automatisch gemountet (grüne Ecke). Wenn ich sie dann ein- und wieder ausschalte nicht :(

1. versuche es ohne mount Zuweisungen in der fstab
2. Evtl. stimmt etwas auf dem Dateisystem nicht-> unter Windows neu formatieren (Fat32)

Wenn ich 1. mache, verschwindet das Media-Icon ganz, zu 2. : Ich werde doch nicht meine gute Reiser-Festplatte mit Fat32 verschandeln ;)

Ich war auch in der Annahme, dass ein USB-Stick rumzickt, deshalb die Empfehlung den neu zu formatieren.meine fstab:
Bei mir werden die /media Einträge automatisch erzeugt, nie habe ich dafür eine Regel erstellt!

bei mir ist installiert:

Bedenke, dass bei einem update von dbus/hal kdelibs/kdebase neu kompliliert werden muss.
Ab dem 3.5.er KDE muss auch das hal USE-Flag gesetzt werden!

KDE-3.5.2 ist mit hal-Unterstützung installiert. Das gruselige ist ja, dass alles richtig ging, bis vor wenigen Tagen. Die Geräte werden ja auch richtig erkannt, nur muß ich sie jetzt mit Doppelklick mounten, was vorher ganz automagisch ging :( Das ist z.B. doof mit Amarok, welches nun darauf besteht, dass ich meinen mp3-stick erst von Hand mounte.
Noch irgendwelche Ideen?
