hi there,

i dont really know what could cause that failure, but it seems there are some apps killing my desktop environments context menus *lol*

its not really kde related, but it happens more often in kde than in gnome. in gnome i could not tell which app it could be, but in kde every call of kmails email account settings and the general launch of noatun causes it. when the error occurs, all my context menu style dialogs are not showing: no file menu, no collapsing bookmark toolbar folders in firefox, no right click context menus (not in the tray, not in the window list, not on the desktop, not in apps, no where!) and even no kicker menu nor the kbfx menu. simply nothing that has to do with collapsing context menus. they simply do not appear by clicking it.
,
well... one time i even noticed that one app (can not tell which it was... maybe noatun again? damn standard action when clicking a media file :D) caused all my input devices not to work anymore except the mouse cursor itself. my whole x didnt respond to any action: no keyboard input, no mouse click!

i really would like to know why this happens. well, i can avoid it by avoiding the apps i know to cause this, but i dont think its limited to those two that i can reproduce for now.

edit: wow... strange... i just noticed the context menus are there... they're only invisible *lol* INVISIBLE! :D *grrrrr*
