Hab ein neues Problem:
Ich möchte nun endlich mal mein WLan zum laufen bringen jedoch kommt beim hochfahren folgender Fehler:
/etc/init.d/net.eth1 start
* Starting eth1
* Starting wpa_supplicant on eth1 ...
Unsupported driver 'ipw2200'.
Ich habe wpa_supplicant ipw2200 und ipw2200-firmware emerged.
/etc/conf.d/net:

Es müsste doch zumindest das WLan-Modul initialisiert werden, oder?

moin,
ab einer gewissen version von wpa_supplicant musst du "-Dwext" verwenden, da die ganzen ipw-dingerns eben diese "wireless extension" schnittstelle mitbringen *froi*

Hey Danke! Super jetzt geht es, dachte schon ich bin zu blöd dafür. 
Das ist aber etwas, was im Gentoo-Wiki erwähnt werden sollte!!! |

Es hält dich niemand davon ab, die Wiki-Page zu modifizieren 
Genau dafür ist ja auch der Link "bearbeiten" (oder edit) da.
Dann können sich gleich noch mehr Leute freuen

Das steht (oder stand?) definitiv im Wiki, es steht aber nicht in der Gentoo-Dokumentation.
Muesste man aendern, da die betreffenden Kernel und Wireless-Tools Versionen als stabil markiert worden sind.
