I have a new Acer Travelmate 8200 series.... now that there are ATI drivers for my X1600 I have been trying to get the SVideo or the CRT outputs to work. Unfortunately, when I try to enable the alternate display devices with Fn+F5 nothing happens. I can get the CRT display to work if I restart the laptop with the external monitor connected. Does anyone anyone have any advice for me to get my Fn+F5 switch working? _________________ Do not meddle in the affairs of wizards, for they are subtle and quick to anger. |

Maybe your Fn+X keys don't work right now and they need some extra software.
I have a toshiba laptop and i needed to install FnFX, which is only for toshiba laptops, to get these keys wo work.
I don't know, if there is something similar for acer laptops out there?!
